This documentary traces the journey from the birth of educational television to today’s breakthroughs in AI, showing how technology can shape learning and human connection. Inspired by Fred Rogers’ legacy, the film looks at how past and present innovators have turned new tools into powerful forces for good — and asks how we might use today’s technologies to build a more connected, resilient future. It was also made as part of a mentoring effort to give University of Pittsburgh film students real-world experience, walking them through the entire documentary process — from the first idea all the way to the finished film.
